Spider-Man in Marvel’s Avengers with no story missions

W next week do Marvel??s Avengers Spider-Man is to come on PS4 and PS5 consoles. As it turns out, this event will not be as spectacular as originally predicted. This superhero will not receive any story missions. This is because developers wish to spend more time content available on all platforms.

Until now, each new hero has been introduced as a DLC. This means that characters such as Hawkeye and Black Panther appeared in the game along with a number of story quests. The implementation of Spider-Man is referred to as the Hero Event. In this case, the whole story will be told through sound recordings and animated cutscenes, which will be unlocked by performing specific challenges.

The game director spoke about the DLC Marvel??s Avengers, Philippe Therien. In an interview with the website IGN stated that a decision was made to focus on content available on all platforms.

We decided to focus on content that everyone can enjoy. That’s why we devoted more time to the Klaw rally.

The whole thing is so disappointing that in September one of the developers posted an entry that indicated that Spider-Man would get its own story and cutscenes. It was then decided that it was not about fictional missions. It turns out, however, that this was not entirely correct.
