‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is getting a Disney+ prequel


Yesterday there were a lot new series inside (and outside) the Marvel Cinematic Universe announced. Also Spider-Man: Freshman Year was in between and not much later it became clear what the series will be about.

Also Spider-Man: Freshman Year will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is a prequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), the first solo film with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, who already made his debut in Captain America: Civil War from 2016.

The animated series follows Peter Parker on his way to become Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, taking a journey we’ve never seen before and a style that honors the character’s early comic book design.

It is not known whether Tom Holland The character’s voice will also be recorded. He didn’t do this in the animated series either What If…? Jeff Trammel is not only the executive producer, but also serves as the lead writer.
