Marvel Studios and Sony are ready to restart the shooting of the next opus of Spider-Man, which is still planned for the end of the year 2021. The pandemic of covid-19 has very regularly postponed filming, but it finally seems on track to resume with fairly strict health instructions. The teams would resume their work in New York.
New York was notably the place where the post-credits scenes of Spider-Man : Far From Home (2019). Many sources report that the film by Jon Watts will be shot with new technological innovations for cinema. The last « grosse » innovation to date remains the 3D HFR from the movie Gemini Man d’Ang Lee, which will not necessarily have marked the spectators. It remains to be seen what could be proposed as “innovative” by Watts and its technical team.
