Spicy footage of “Sportloto-82” was shown only to foreigners

The director knew what foreign audiences expected from him.

Shooting the film “Sportloto-82” Leonid Gaidai decided on a bold experiment. The director knew that his film would be shown not only in the USSR, but also in Finland, where the morals were completely different.

The movie featured aspiring actress Louise Mosendz, who has had all the bumps. It was to her that Gaidai turned with an important and very piquant request, and the actress did not dare to refuse.

In the episode where the artist’s heroine Alla Dmitrievna swims in a boat with the camp director, she is depicted in a swimsuit. Leonid Iovich, on the other hand, asked Mosendz to remove her upper part, explaining that foreigners “like to look at beautiful female bodies”. The celebrity told about this case in the documentary “Unknown Version”.

The scene was successfully filmed, but still not shown to citizens of the USSR. The fact that something like this would have escaped the Arts Council on the big screen was out of the question in those days.
