Spelunky 2 had been announced when Paris Games Week 2017, during a conference organized by Sony, more the title of Mossmouth will not be exclusive to PlayStation 4. Developer Derek Yu was quick to announce that his game would also be released on PC, via Steam, and it will land soon.
Spelunky 2 release date is set for September 15, 2020 on PlayStation 4, and it should be released on PC a few weeks later. Derek Yu explains that his studio needs more time to ensure that Spelunky 2 runs well on computers, especially on the online multiplayer side. But the team is trying to bring the release dates closer to PS4 and PC as much as possible.
Logically, Spelunky 2 should therefore arrive on Steam at the end of September, or at the very beginning of October 2020. You can buy a game t-shirt at € 16.18 on Amazon.fr.
