Speedway. Sparta Wrocław issued a statement regarding Maciej Janowski

“Important information from our medical team. Maciek Janowski without fractures. We are starting rehabilitation” – Betard Sparta Wrocław reported on Facebook.

Maciej Janowski was involved in a serious accident during the fourth round of TAURON SEC in Chorzów. Unofficial reports from Filip Czyszanowski on TVP Sport mentioned a suspected broken wrist.

Now it is known that the worst-case scenario did not come true. Janowski will certainly need some time to fully recover from this event.

A serious crash occurred at the beginning of the third series. Maciej Janowski, who was fighting for second place with Leon Madsen, was slightly jolted on the entrance to the last bend. The Polish representative ran into the leader Jacob Thorssell, they made contact and both fell onto the track, falling under the inflatable barrier.

The Swede quickly got up from the track and returned to the machine park. Janowski left the oval in an ambulance. Replays showed that Janowski’s left hand fell into the rear wheel of Thorssell’s machine when he fell off the bike, which also knocked the Swedish rider off balance.

Janowski was taken to a hospital in Sosnowiec after the incident. It was there that he underwent detailed tests.

The “Magic” team will soon be leaving for another important match. On Wednesday (September 25), Betard Sparta Wrocław will play the PGE Ekstraliga semi-final rematch with ebut.pl Stal Gorzów. Kick-off at 6:00 p.m.
