Speeding in Mandalika hit a roadblock, Australian Caucasians were injured

An Australian Caucasian, Brady Nicholas Antony (40), crash road divider on the BIL-Mandalika Bypass, NTB, while driving a motorbike at high speed. It is known that the Australian Caucasian took part in the fun track at the Mandalika Circuit before the accident.

The Head of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) Police, AKP I Made Dimas Widiantara, said that the victim, who was traveling with the motorbike community from Bali, crashed into a guardrail while heading to the city of Mataram from the Mandalika Circuit, Saturday (21/1).

According to Dimas, the victim hit a road guardrail using a silver Honda 600 CC motorbike on the BIL-Mandalika bypass in Sukadana Village. The victim allegedly lost control while crossing the BIL-Mandalika Bypass road after crossing at high speed.

“The victim hit a road divider and was injured. It happened around 17.20 WITA. So, this victim just finished participating in a fun track at the Mandalika Circuit,” Dimas said. detikBaliSunday (22/1/2023).

According to one of the victim’s colleagues, Antony drove from the Songgong Kuta Mandalika roundabout intending to return to a hotel in Mataram. However, when he arrived at the scene of the incident, it was suspected that the road was bumpy at high speed.

“The victim and his motorcycle were thrown about 20 meters from the initial collision,” said Dimas.
