Again, an accident was experienced by Tesla’s electric car in China. The accident was quite fatal, where the Tesla Model 3 hit the back of the bus very hard and hit a parked car.

Quoted from Carscoops, the incident occurred in Ruian, Zhejiang Province, China on February 17 2023. From the monitoring of CCTV cameras, the Tesla car initially drove very fast and was out of control when it crossed a bridge. The car had bounced up and slammed.

The car drove as if without braking. He also had time to pass through a crossroads and avoid collision with two other cars. The car kept going without stopping, until finally the dark blue Tesla Model 3 crashed into a bus that was moving slowly. The car then stopped after hitting a car parked on the side of the road.

Initial reports from China claimed that the occupants of the Model 3 were seriously injured in the crash, but the occupants and driver survived the catastrophic crash. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Not yet known for certain, whether the accident solely occurred due to negligence of the driver or there are other factors involved, such as the possibility of technical problems with the car itself.

Tesla China has not released any information regarding the cause of the accident. They are still in the process of investigation with the local police. “We are deeply saddened by this accident,” said a Tesla spokesperson in China.

“We understand everyone’s concern about this (Tesla) accident. Currently, the cause of the accident is being investigated by the local traffic police. Cooperate with them fully. Please do not believe and spread information (related to the accident) that has not been verified,” he said. .

Previously in November 2022, the Tesla Model Y electric car also had an accident, to be precise in Taizhou, Zheijiang Province. The incident killed two people, and another person was injured.
