Dear compatriots,
Today we celebrate the Day of People’s Awakeners. This is the fifth year that I have had the honor of being together and speaking at the celebration. Every time I paid tribute to the people of spirit and culture, to the heroes who illuminated the darkness in the past. To all of you today’s alarm clocks.
In the early years, I called for an awakening. Last year we experienced the great national awakening. Bulgaria is changing – looking for new ideas, discussing new solutions. Problems are spoken out loud, and delusions with an expired shelf life are consigned to history. The time is crisis, heavy, painful. But such is every awakening.
Let us not wait for someone else to wake us up, but let us be awake! Let’s not succumb to the hypnosis of lies and manipulations.
Today, everything is in the hands of our awakened people!
Eternal gratitude to the memory and work of the wakers of the past! Gratitude to today’s enlighteners, to the bearers of spirit, knowledge and hope! To the irreconcilable!
