Recently, “news” spread that the owner of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, had suffered a heart attack, a little later it was announced that he had died. Jānis Slaidiņš, NBS major, National Guard staff officer, comments on these messages in the program “Actual about the war in Ukraine”.
“An interesting news has appeared that Putin has remained “stiff”. Information is read that he has a bad heart, that he has died and that Russia is preparing for the size of the country. There is no real basis for this news. There are some political analysts in Ukraine who truly believe that Putin is dead. It’s hard to agree with that, these are just assumptions,” says J. Slaidiņš.
The host of the show, together with J. Slaidin, admits that certain sentences related to Putin’s death are completely “crass”. “The doctors are currently locked in a room with Putin’s body,” reads one of the statements.
“Probably already embalmed or stuffed with straw or cotton wool. [Smiekli]. To whom such news is beneficial, it is difficult to say. No one is forever, Putin will die someday. How Russia will announce it, we do not know. But even after Putin’s death, nothing much will change,” thinks J. Slaidiņš.
