“He would be perfect for Napoli. I like him, admire him and think he will do well,” Totti told The Corriere dello Sport.
“Luis Enrique is a kind and humble person. He has made history as a coach and a footballer, and I think he will be a great choice for Napoli,” he continued.
“They are similar in terms of the style of play in organizing training sessions. We will see if Aurelio De Laurentiis is suitable for Luis Enrique, but I think he will be a very good choice,” said Francesco Totti.
Luis Enrique currently has not coached any club after leaving the post of coach of the Spanish national team. Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in recruiting the 53-year-old coach.
