Speculation: Sony is developing a portable gaming device, but it’s not the second generation PlayStation Vita.

Previously, the network began to spread gossip about the possible appearance PlayStation Vita 2. Well-known journalist and insider Jeff Grubb decided to share what he heard about the new device.

According to him, gamers should lower their expectations. He said that he had only heard of a portable device with cloud game streaming. He does not have any information about a full-fledged new version of the PlayStation Vita.

So if Grubb is to be believed, Sony’s potential portable device could be more like Logitech G Cloudthan on Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch. SIE itself has not yet commented.
