Real Madrid have had personnel problems in their defensive line for some time now. There are therefore rumors in Spain about a return of Sergio Ramos.
When Sergio Ramos left Real Madrid in July 2021, there were plenty of tears. In 16 years he has won everything there is to win with Los Blancos and is in the top 5 record players with 671 competitive games.
Now Marca is talking about a return to Concha Espina. Nacho Fernández is no longer part of the Madrid squad, Antonio Rüdiger is a frequent player and does everything he can, Éder Militao is not yet back to 100 percent after his cruciate ligament injury – and when will David Alaba be back on the pitch after his serious knee damage is currently completely open.
Real can currently only respond, as Barça recently did with Wojciech Szczesny, by signing a free transfer player. Ramos is one of those after his contract with Sevilla FC ended this summer. According to Marca, Real is dealing with other personnel matters, so there will be no reunion.

Castello Lukeba (21, RB Leipzig) is said to be an issue, among other things, and Jorrel Hato (18, Ajax Amsterdam) is also considered a possible candidate for a change. However, no concrete steps have been taken with these two personnel so far. As the January transfer window approaches, the efforts could become more concrete.
And Ramos? He continues to work on finding a new club. Juventus Turin is said to be at least considering a signing after Bremer’s serious injury, and Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo, Ramos’s long-time companion, is also said to be looking into Ramos.
