It was a shock for all IBES fans: the viewers who switched to RTL on time on Monday were confused by Quizmaster Günther Jauch. Because he said goodbye to “Who wants to be a millionaire?” from his audience with the words: “Now it goes on with ‘Extra’.”
A small mistake that did not go unnoticed by Twitter users. Comments like “man, but the jauch is wrongly informed” and “Günther Jauch has just disseminated IBES” piled up there.
#IBES Mr. Jauch, when extra is different … ?????

Günther Jauch has in #WWM at the @RTLde just announced “extra” ?! Programming errors? #IBES

A user asks whether RTL had an error in the program planning. Because “Who wants to be a millionaire?” is usually a record. Had the broadcaster just swapped the episodes?
That can not be really. Because for years there have always been three episodes of the quiz broadcast during the jungle camp. Even before the opening episode, the rate show thrills every year with an episode in the jungle style. It was shown again this year. It is definitely the first of the three jungle episodes this year.
The episode that aired on Monday is the second part of the show. Because there was again candidate Sarah Halfters, who had already taken a seat on the Council chair in the first episode.
Maybe Günther Jauch just got confused. After all, it has been running “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” always gives “extra” on Mondays. The magazine, which has recently been moderated by Nazan Eckes, only pauses during the jungle camp.
