A total of 11 people died due to breathing difficulties musical concert in Kinshasa, Congo, last weekend. The number of spectators exceeds the capacity.
The concert of the famous African musician born in Kinshaha, Fally Ipupa, was held at the Martyrs Stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 80,000 people, but the number of spectators present far exceeds the capacity of the stadium.
Of the 11 people who died, nine were bystanders and the other two were policemen. In addition to the dead, there were injured bystanders.

Ipupa only found out about the death of her fans after waking up the morning after the night of the concert.
“It hurts me. I am from Kinshasa and obviously I feel the pain of the family (victim),” Ipupa said.
It is not the first time that the Ipupa concert is tumultuous. In 2020, French police evacuated a train station in Paris because several people set fires before an Ipupa concert.
