Specifications of the Three Latest Asus ROG Gaming Laptop Series

Asus launched three series laptop gaming The newest ROGs are ROG Flow X13, ROG Strix SCAR 17 and lROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE at the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which will be held virtually, Wednesday (13/1).

ASUS Indonesia’s Head of Public Relations, Muhammad Firman, said that Asus Indonesia will launch the three ROG series in the near future in the 3rd quarter of 2021.

Following are the specifications and the latest series of Asus ROG laptops which are predicted to be released this year:

ROG Flow X13

ROG Flow X13 is a gaming laptop with a USB Power Delivery feature that allows charging via a special 100W USB Type-C adapter.

Through this adapter, ROG Flow X13 can be recharged from 0 percent to 60 percent in just 39 minutes.

In addition, ROG Flow X13 carries a convertible design where users can rotate the screen up to 360 degrees. Thus, the ROG Flow X13 can also appear as a multifunctional laptop because it is supported by a 120Hz fast FHD touch screen technology or a high-resolution 45 panel and protected with Corning Gorilla glass.

ROG Flow X13 is equipped with Dolby Atmos technology which is claimed to be able to deliver better audio not only for playing games and other multimedia activities.

In addition, ROG ROG Flow X13 is also equipped with three special heatsinks which are claimed to release heat more optimally. ROG Flow X13 is powered by a graphics chip up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080.

Two ROG at 15 FR

ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE is a laptop with Screen Pad Plus which means it is an integrated second screen.

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor and a graphics chip up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080. The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE also comes in two screen options, namely with a 360Hz FHD panel that has a 100 percent sRGB color gamut or a 4K 120Hz panel which has a 100 percent Adobe RGB color gamut.

This laptop is also equipped with an Arc Flow fan that can cool the runway space by up to 13 percent, and is equipped with five heatpipes and liquid metal as a thermal compound that is better than the previous generation.

ROG Strix SCAR 17

ROG Strix SCAR is equipped with a processor up to AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics chip, ROG Strix SCAR 17, and is equipped with 3200MHz DDR4 memory with a capacity of up to 64GB.

ROG Strix SCAR 17 comes with the fastest screen in its class, which is FHD resolution which has a refresh rate of up to 360 Hz and a response time of 3ms. The screen has a thinner bezel and is supported by Adaptive Sync technology.

ROG Strix SCAR 17 this time is powered by a Dolby Atmos audio system through four speakers that can produce detailed sound.

This gaming laptop is also equipped with a Two-Way AI Noise-Cancellation feature that will reduce all surrounding noise, so that communication is smoother when playing esports games.

The latest ROG Strix SCAR 17 also has a battery with a larger capacity, which is 90Whrs, so it can be used for up to 12 hours.

The keyboard is equipped with an RGB per-key feature that has a deeper key travel of 1.9mm and is more responsive. In addition, it has a track pad that is 85 percent larger.

The latest ROG Strix SCAR 17 uses a new cooling module that is able to optimize laptop performance equipped with an Arc Flow fan, a self-cleaning cooling system feature, and the use of liquid metal as a thermal compound.
