Honda Giorno with the latest graphics launched in Japan. This motorbike has advantages in terms of a compact design to the fuel consumption of the motorbike which is more efficient than the Honda Beat.
In general, this motorbike has a retro design like the Honda Scoopy which is marketed in Indonesia. It’s just that Gorno’s line is more rounded than Scoopy’s.
The new colors for the 2022 Honda Giorno in Japan include Virgin Beige, Pearl Deep Mud Grey, Matte Armored Green Metallic and Summer Pink. It looks so classic with round headlights.
In terms of dimensions, this Giorno is smaller than the Honda Beat. This motorbike has a length of 1,650 mm, a width of 670 mm and a height of 1,035 mm. While the ground clearance is 105 mm and the seat height is 720 mm.
For comparison, the Honda Beat has a length of 1,877 mm, a width of 669 mm, and a height of 1,074 mm. The lowest distance to the ground is 147 mm, and the seat height is 740 mm.
Although this motorbike is relatively small, behind the Honda Giorno seat there is a large luggage space of 20 liters. Luggage space is enough to accommodate a helmet.
The left and front storage boxes are equipped with covers. Compact overall dimensions. With compact dimensions, this bike is suitable for mobility for urban use.
Interestingly, the Honda Giorno is more efficient in terms of fuel consumption. In the Japanese Honda website page, this motorbike can penetrate 80 km / liter.
It is known, BEAT’s fuel consumption in the ECE R40 method, gets the results of fuel capable of up to 60.6 km / liter (ISS feature on) so that it can cover a distance of 254.52 km in one refueling.
Then what makes it economical? it turns out that this retro-styled motorbike uses an engine capacity of 50 cc while the Honda Beat is 110 cc.

On paper, the Honda Giorno carries an engine coded AF74E with a capacity of 49 cc that can spit out 4.5 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 4.1 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This motor can accommodate 4.5 liters of fuel. The fuel supply system has also brought PGM-FI injection which is claimed to be more efficient.
However, this motorbike is not planned to be sold in ASEAN or in Indonesia. For those who are interested in classic scooters, Honda has provided the Honda Scoopy.
Regarding the official price, this motorbike is priced at 209,000 thousand Japanese yen or the equivalent of Rp. 25 million.
Currently, the Honda Scoopy is sold in Indonesia with prices ranging from Rp. 20,475 million to Rp. 21.275 million.
Or, if you want a cheaper version there is also a Honda Genio. In Indonesia, Honda Genio prices start from Rp. 17,995 million to Rp. 18,465 million.
