Specifications for Oppo Find N, the first foldable phone to compete with Samsung

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Oppo officially released its latest flagship which has the Oppo Find N folding design. This phone is also the first folding phone from Oppo.

Like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3, Oppo’s phone also has two screens. A 5.49-inch screen on the outside and a 7.1-inch screen on the inside with an 8:4:9 ratio.

The Oppo Find N is said to be smaller than the Fold, and the inside display on the Find N gives a landscape view, not portrait like the inside screen of Samsung’s foldable phone.

This makes the Oppo phone an ideal gadget for streaming videos and playing games anywhere, as well as accessing multitasking applications on a separate screen or with the floating windows feature.

Then the inner screen of the Find N is an LTPO display with a dynamic 1-120Hz refresh rate that has a touch sampling rate of up to 1000Hz.

Formed from 12 layers of serene screen that includes a layer of ultra-thin 0.03mm Flexion glass which is claimed to have better durability, making the Oppo Find N last more than 200 thousand times folded.

The Oppo Find N foldable screen is held together by the Oppo Flex hinge, which is made with a water-drop design that widens the fold angle on the screen.

This is said to be able to form a buffer when the screen is folded, and make the phone’s wrinkles less noticeable compared to other folding phones.

The Oppo Find N’s hinge is said to be strong enough to support the phone while standing at an angle between 50 and 120 degrees, allowing it to be used like a laptop when users need to take notes or join video calls.

Reported from Trusted reviews, Find N is equipped with three cameras with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. The camera also supports 4K video recording and time lapse modes, and each screen also has its own selfie lens.

Then the phone has a fingerprint scanner on the power button on the side of the phone. This device also packs a dual speaker system with Dolby Atmos audio support.

On the engine side, the Find N is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and has up to 12GB RAM configuration and 512GB storage.

Reported from NDTV, the phone that was released on December 15 is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery and SUPERVOOC Flash Charge support.

Find N is also equipped with 15W AIRVOOC wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging to charge other devices such as earphones.
