Dynabook released laptop Portege X30W-J weighing 989 grams. General Manager, Product Strategy for Mobile Computing Solutions, Devices & IoT, Dynabook Singapore Wong Wai Meng claims the Portege X30W-J is a 13-inch convertible laptop gthe 11th energy.
“This is the lightest in the world,” said Meng in a written statement, Tuesday (22/12).
Convertible is a term for a portable computer that features both a tablet and a laptop in one device.
The Portege X30W-J is powered by 11th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 quad-core 10nm, 28W variants that are claimed to have high performance. This device is also equipped with storage options and dual channel LPDDR4x memory up to 32GB which works at 4266MHz. Plus there’s super-fast (up to 1TB) PCIe SSD storage.
Intel® Evo ™ certified, the Portege X30W-J is also available in configurations using the new Intel Iris Xe graphics technology for graphics levels, responsiveness, and battery life.
Claimed extra long battery life of up to 16 hours. Its ability to charge quickly will restore battery capacity up to 40 percent in just 30 minutes.
There’s an Instant On function on the device as well allowing it to power on in less than a second via facial and fingerprint biometric activation.
When paired with Windows Ink Workspace and optional AES stylus pen, users can write on it as if using a pen to paper. When using the pen, the keyboard automatically shuts down to avoid accidental key presses.
As for wireless connection, this device is equipped with the latest Intel 802.11ax (WiFi 6) + BT 5.1 module. It also features two of the latest Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports that allow fast charging, connection to peripherals, and high-speed data transfer.
Packed with a wide selection of peripherals, the Portege X30W-J also provides full-size HDMI, a USB 3.1 Type-A port, plus a 3.5mm audio jack. Meanwhile, the micro SD card slot provides optional additional storage.
It features harman / cardon speakers and Dolby Atmos for sound enhancement, as well as dual noise-canceling microphones. This convertible laptop has a main webcam and an 8MP webcam that faces outside with an anti-glare coating.
This 2 in 1 laptop has a compact 4-sided bezel and high visibility from all 360 degree angles as well as a Corning® Gorilla® Glass construction on the screen. The light-equipped frameless keyboard on this device has larger keys than its predecessor (16x15mm per key).
The Daynabook X30W-J has been available in Indonesia since December 2020 and is priced starting at Rp. 32,999,000.
