Sony launched kamera Alpha 7S III which is the successor to the Alpha 7S II. Sony Alpha 7S III will be available on Indonesia in November 2020 at a price of IDR 51 million.
The camera is equipped with a state-of-the-art BIONZ XR image processing engine with eight times the processing power and the latest 12.1-megapixel back-illuminated full-frame Exmor R CMOS image sensor.
Advanced light collection techniques to ensure high sensitivity with low noise, allowing users to shoot in difficult lighting situations without requiring large-scale lighting setups.
The camera is also equipped with 4K 120p recording capability and 10-bit 4: 2: 2 color depth. The camera has the latest autofocus system, touch screen interface, and side aperture LCD screen.
The camera has a very high sensitivity with an expandable ISO range from 40 to 409600, and improves image quality by about 1 stop noise reduction 2 in the mid and high sensitivity ranges.
The Alpha 7S III offers Fast Hybrid AF by combining phase-detection and contrast-detection AF. This feature gives it the ability to track subjects over a large area quickly.
For capturing dynamic objects, Real-time tracking feature and Real-time Eye AF are available to maintain constant focus on the targeted subject.
Sony’s Real-time Eye AF improves detection performance by 30 percent over the previous system. Real-time tracking starts by simply touching the subject on the screen. Simultaneously, Real-time Eye AF will activate when the subject’s eye is detected.
The Alpha 7S III design has been revamped to ensure more effective heat dissipation and prevent overheating. This heat dissipation system will keep the camera from getting hot even during continuous video recording sessions with the 4K 60p 10-bit 4: 2: 2 feature for an hour or so.
The Alpha 7S III carries a fast Hybrid AF system with 759 phase-detection AF points that cover 92 percent of the image sensor.
The Alpha 7S III is the world’s first 12 camera to feature a 9.44 million-dot (approx.), 0.64-type Quad-XGA electronic viewfinder with OLED display. The Viewfinder Alpha 7S III offers a 20 viewfinder magnification of 0.90x, a diagonal field of view of 41 degrees.
