KOMPAS.com – Asus Indonesia officially brings gaming smartphones ROG Phone 3 to the country. This smartphone is actually the successor of ROG Phone II, which was launched in December 2019.
Similar to its predecessor, ROG Phone 3 comes with a sturdy body design made of metal. On the back is the distinctive “ROG” logo. The logo is equipped with an RGB panel, which can emit colorful lights.
The AMOLED screen has an area of 6.9 inches which supports a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz with a response time that is claimed to reach 1ms.
The screen has a touch sampling rate of 270 Hz with a touch latency of 25 ms, which supports 10-bit HDR images.

ROG Phone 3 has the advantage of the kitchen runway sector it carries. This smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset and the GPU Adreno 650, which offers superior performance compared to other smartphones.
“This game-changing platform improves graphics rendering performance 10 percent faster and CPU performance is higher than the previous Snapdragon version,” said Alvis Lin Asus Indonesia Smartphone Product Manager.
This phone is available in two options with RAM and internal memory, respectively 8GB / 128GB and 12GB / 256GB.
On the back there are three cameras arranged vertically. The camera configuration consists of a 64 MP main camera (f / 2.2), a 13 MP ultra-wide camera (f / 2.2), and a macro camera. On the front, there is a 24 MP selfie camera.
Asus also maintains a 6,000 mAh jumbo capacity battery that supports 30 Watt fast charging. ROG Phone 3 is claimed to last up to 9.2 hours when playing PUBG Mobile, Asphalt 5 for 9.5 hours and Call of Duty Mobile for up to 9.3 hours.
This smartphone has two charger port holes, which are located on the left side and the bottom of the smartphone. Thus, users can play games while charging the cellphone without the need to be disturbed by the charger port.
