Detailed description

At the University of Vienna, the Special Unit for Quality Assurance is the central organizational unit responsible for internal and external quality assurance, including evaluations, surveys and quality audits. It carries out evaluations of organizational units, study programs and courses, is responsible for quality checks of appointment and tenure track procedures and creates management-relevant analyses using various instruments (in particular surveys, data analyses). The offices of the Ethics Committee and the Ombudsman’s Office for ensuring good scientific practice are also part of the institution.
