Special Team Will Investigate Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s Alibi

jpnn.com, JAKARTA – A special team formed by National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo will investigate Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, who is said to have not been at his official residence, Duren Tiga Police Complex, South Jakarta, during the shootout that killed Brigadier J on Friday (8/7).

Inspector General Ferdy Sambo is said to be undergoing a PCR test when the incident occurred.

“That (Inspector General Ferdy Sambo for the PCR test) is one of those that will be investigated, checked for an alibi,” said Timsus member Benny Mamoto at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Wednesday (20/7).

The Daily Chief of Kompolnas said that the Timsus would also investigate the officers who carried out the PCR test on Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

“We will check the witnesses, who is the officer in charge, and so on,” said Benny.

Timsus will also investigate a number of irregularities, including the CCTV which was reportedly damaged at Inspector General Sambo’s house.

“So, what are the public’s questions are the focus of deepening the Timsus,” said Benny.

Brigadier J died after engaging in a shootout with Bharada E at Pak Sambo’s official residence.
