Under the leadership of the prosecutor’s office, a large-scale specialized operation was held this afternoon in Sliven, together with officers of the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime. Nine people were detained. Huge quantities of money and gold were found during the searches. The bundles were stuffed into sacks.
In a truck, investigators found the presence of chemicals used for fertilization in agriculture.
The investigation lasted a long time, said people familiar with the action. The searches began in connection with illegal cigarettes.
