In season 6, which started on April 5 (Wednesday), the “circumstances” of each member of the special investigation team were strongly reflected in addition to the incident, and a story was developed in which their private lives had a complicated impact on the investigation. .

In the 7th episode of season 6, Kaito Miyachika (Travis Japan), who plays the young detective Akira Sakuma, will appear as a guest along with Shiro Ito, who plays the role of Tetsuji Ikari, the “legendary forensics”. .

Miyachika will appear for the first time in about two years since season 4 (2021).

◆ Sakuma, who has grown through overseas training, makes a triumphant return!

Sakuma, played by Miyachika, is a serious investigator who works hard under the veteran Igari.

In season 1 (2018), he was portrayed as a fresh newcomer, but as the seasons progressed, he grew stronger.

In season 4, he was completely relied on by the Special Investigation Team.

In 2022, Naoki Asawa (played by Inohara) told us that Sakuma was on overseas training in season 5, which was broadcast during Travis Japan’s study abroad in the United States, where Miyachika is the leader.

Such Sakuma recently finished his training, grew up a little and returned to Japan.

In Episode 7, a unique story unfolds in which he cooperates with Naoki’s investigation for his teacher, Igari, and approaches the truth of the incident together.

◆Immersed in the world of “Special Investigation 9” for the first time in two years!

Appearing for the first time in two years, and furthermore, in the development of challenging the investigation as a solid buddy, Inohara said, “It’s been a long time since we co-starred, but I felt that I’m a ‘Sakuma who has grown up and returned’!” to praise the evolution of juniors.

Miyachika, who smiled at Inohara’s acclaim, said, “Actually, I didn’t feel like it was the first time in two years.Inohara-san and the rest of the team were there to make sure I didn’t feel like a wall. That’s it,” he said, thanking the members of the special investigation team who welcomed him warmly.

In the interval between shooting this time, Inohara and Miyachika appeared together at Johnny’s Jr.’s lesson, saying, “I thought that if I took him, I would be respected too… (laughs). It’s been a long time. It was fun taking lessons together.”

Furthermore, regarding the highlights of episode 7, Inohara said, “It’s an unprecedented development that Sakuma-kun will help us with our investigation. I think the point is to be able to win,” appealing Miyachika’s success.

Miyachika also said, “I’m just happy that the character Sakuma is in the same world as everyone in ‘Special Investigation 9’ for the first time in a long time… Watching the 7th episode with Sakuma joining is a big deal for me. I’m looking forward to it! I hope everyone will enjoy it,” he said.

――How was your co-star with Miyachika Kaito-san for the first time in two years?

Sakuma-kun, who plays Miyachika, is set to have gone to America for training for the past two years. It’s been a long time since we co-starred, but I felt like I’ve become a “grown-up Sakuma”!

The other day, on the way home from shooting “Tokusou 9”, Miyachika showed up at Johnny’s Jr.’s lesson with me. I thought if I took him with me, I would be respected too… (laughs). It was fun to take lessons together after a long time.

Episode 7 has an unprecedented development in which Sakuma-kun will help us with our investigation.

It’s been a long time since Sakuma-kun appeared in plain clothes, and Sakuma was such a talkative person. I think that is the point.

Sakuma-kun, of course, Igari (Tetsuji) played by Shiro Ito and Ryo Shindo (played by Yuki Yamada) all exist in the same world. I think it’s fun to be able to watch the drama while watching it!

――After 2 years, you played with Yoshihiko Inohara as Akira Sakuma, how was it?

Actually, I didn’t feel like it was the first time in two years. This is because Inohara-san and everyone else on the team did their best not to make us feel like there was a “wall”. I was really grateful.

Inohara-san’s amazingness can of course be felt at the scene, but it can also be understood through the TV screen.

Mr. Inohara doesn’t just act according to the script, but he dares to make it easy to understand, takes “pauses”, and when he appears on the screen, he has a kind of “hundred battle instinct” that makes him live. It’s amazing.

Every time I see it on air, I’m surprised, “I see! How does that ‘swing’ work like this!” Watching it on air again this time, I think you will realize once again how amazing it is.

This time, I talked about various things at the shooting site, but I was also able to participate in Johnny’s Jr.’s lesson together outside the shooting site, so it was fun for me too!

Episode 7 could be called “Igari-san’s episode”, and I also participated in it.

I watch season 6 on air every week, and I’m just happy to think that the character Sakuma is in the same world as everyone in “Tokusou 9” for the first time in a while…

I’m looking forward to seeing episode 7 with Sakuma on board! I hope everyone enjoys it.
