Andris Bērziņš was born on July 26, 1952 in Līgatne. Since 1974, he has worked intermittently at the Daile Theater, where he participated in the plays “If my wife finds out”, “Elizabeth, Queen of England”, “Not like everyone else”, “Brand”, “Sherlock Holmes”, “The Last Barrier”, ” A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “John Neiland”, etc
He also played roles in the independent theater “Kabata”, the New Riga Theater, the Latvian National Theater in Zigmar Liepiņš’s musical “Adata”, etc.
The actor has also participated in the films “Wish me a bad time for flying”, “Spring road sign”, “Rocky road”, “These dangerous balcony doors”, “Aija”, “Soloist needed”, “The mystery of the old parish house”, etc., as well as in TV series, for example, in the popular TV3 series “UgunsGreks”, the series “Līduma dūmos”, etc
Andris Bērziņš has also been involved in business, he was the co-owner of the theater club “Austrumu regija” and the independent theater “Kabata”.

Together with Raimonda Paula, Harija Spanovski and Jānis Paukštello, he received the “Latvijas Mūzikas Record of the Year Award 2012” in the nomination “Best Hit Music Album”; together with Raimonds Paulus – Latvian Music Recording Annual Award “Golden Microphone 2020” in the nomination “Shit, country or rockabilly music album”.
