The National Meteorological Administration has issued a special forecast for Bucharest valid until Thursday, August 24, 2023. After the heat wave, storms and showers could appear, meteorologists warn.
The special forecast covers the period 22.08.2023, 10:00 a.m. – 24.08.2023, 10:00 a.m.
The heat wave, heat wave and thermal discomfort will persist, and the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will exceed the critical threshold of 80 units. The maximum temperatures will be 37…39 degrees, and the minimum 20…23 degrees.
The sky will be variable, with temporarily increased cloudiness especially in the evening and night of Wednesday, when the probability of short-term intensification of wind, thunderstorms, electrical discharges and showers will increase, ANM stated.
