Special forces give a look behind the scenes in new documentary series ‘Under the radar’ | TV

TVThey have been working mainly in the shadows for almost 50 years. Time for change, thought the VRT. And so, starting tonight, the special units of the federal police will give a look behind the scenes in the new TV program ‘Under the radar’.

In it, viewers see the special training that the special forces directorate (DSU) receive and special operations from the past are also brought up. A unique picture, because the DSU works under the radar for a reason. The members rarely get a face, except for the arrest of Salah Abdeslam in 2016, for example.

The special units carry out arrests and interventions. They often work undercover, try to solve kidnappings, install hidden cameras or use other technical feats. We are now getting a more concrete picture of this for the first time.

‘Under the radar’, tonight at 8.40 pm on One
