Authorities arrested a Brooklyn special education teacher accused of kissing the lips of a 13-year-old student last week.
Police say 41-year-old Michael D’Anna works at PS / IS 30 Mary White Ovington in Bay Ridge.
A school worker witnessed D’Anna allegedly kissing the student Friday morning in the science lab, the New York City Police Department said.
He now faces charges of sexual abuse and acting in a manner detrimental to a minor. Contact information for the teacher’s attorney was not immediately known.
