The Bentley car company will produce only eighteen batteries, from which one can deduce that it did not reach many interested parties – and we cannot expect any other model with a combustion engine from Bentley, as the car company has confirmed in the past. However, those who are still interested in having a piece of battery combined with an internal combustion engine at home can head to Ducati.
The world-famous Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, which, like Bentley, belongs to the Volkswagen concern, has presented the 550th edition of its Diavel V4 model, inspired by the Bentley Batur.
Technically, nothing changes, the Diavel’s rear wheel is still powered by a 1.2-liter forked four-cylinder called the Granturismo. It gives 124 kW (169 hp) and 126 Nm and a dry weight of 211 kg; a lot of electronics help the rider to master this machine, including ABS with tilt braking, traction control and built-in navigation.
From batur, the special Diavels will receive a green paint that comes directly from the palette of the Mulliner division, also the forged wheels should be similar to those on the British sports car.
There are even shaped holes for air intake, the front fender or the tank, in such a way as to resemble a Batur.
Five hundred Diavels will be created in the standard version with a price of 70 thousand dollars (1.6 million crowns). Another fifty will be available to those who already have a Bentley Batur in their garage; these will be more expensive with a price of 90 thousand dollars (2 million crowns), but they will offer customers much wider options for personalizing the machine.
