This Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16, the health personnel of the State of Mexico will be applying an additional dose of the vaccine against covid-19 in the municipalities of Toluca and Almoloya de Juárez, with the aim that during this winter season the most vulnerable groups, Like older adults, they can count on reinforcement of this scheme.
The Mexican Ministry of Health reported that there is an availability of 130 thousand doses of the Sputnik V vaccine to immunize adults over 60 years of age, people over 18 years of age with chronic diseases, pregnant women and health personnel, which have already been applied through the different modules located in municipalities such as Huixquilucan, Texcoco, Ixtlahuaca, Coacalco and Ecatepec.
This special vaccination day began last Saturday the 9th and will conclude on December 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Priority groups
In this first stage, these doses will be applied to the highest risk groups such as people over 60 years of age, people over 18 years of age with chronic, heart, lung, congenital diseases, pregnant women and health personnel.

The Ministry of Health reiterates that the vaccines are safe, effective and free, which have gone through various phases of research that confirm their effectiveness and safety, in addition to preventing serious complications of the covid-19 disease.
The agency pointed out that to access the benefit of this biological it is not necessary to present documentation, spend the night or arrive at the headquarters in the early morning, however, it urges people to maintain preventive measures after being vaccinated.
The macromodules arranged for this vaccination will also have the influenza vaccine, which can be applied on the same day, so this action represents the will of the power to serve of the governments of Mexico and the State of Mexico, so that the Mexicans are protected, especially in this winter season.
