It is no coincidence that in our country, a special place is allocated to the construction and major repair of new schools one after the other. All these works are a clear example of attention to the proper upbringing of children and young people. It has become a tradition not only in the capital, but also in other cities and regions of our Republic, as well as in remote villages, to rebuild school buildings, refurbish many educational institutions, and equip them with the most modern equipment. This is not for nothing, and the fact that our state’s attention to educational institutions has become a tradition is calculated precisely for the proper upbringing of the young generation. Our society, the society of Azerbaijan, sees and is aware that special attention is paid to educational institutions and training centers in our country. This is realized by the leadership and tasks of the head of the country, Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, and this means that the correct education of the young generation, children and youth is considered a priority issue. The work done in this direction cannot be denied.
It should be noted that not only the construction and repair of school buildings and educational institutions, but also the constant renewal of sports infrastructure are witnessed by each of us. The construction of sports complexes in different districts and regions of our republic, the construction of sports grounds even in the most remote villages is known to each of us. It goes without saying that the establishment of the listed sports complexes creates the basis for increasing the interest in sports among children and young people. The construction of sports complexes that meet modern standards and the construction of stadiums are indispensable for the success of young people in the field of sports. There can be no doubt that young people who are interested in sports and do sports will have a healthy spirit, because as the saying goes, “a healthy body has a healthy soul.” Having young people with a healthy spirit, and raising children and young people with a healthy spirit is an important, essential condition for them to become worthy citizens.
In particular, it should be noted that the role of family education is indispensable in the healthy growth of children and young people, and their physical, psychological, and spiritual health. Proper upbringing of children and young people begins first of all with the family. From this point of view, it is of particular importance for parents to properly educate their children. Of course, first of all, parents should realize that they are responsible for their children’s upbringing, physical and spiritual development, and healthy growth. We would even say that they should be responsible for it. Parents should know that their children need to grow up physically and spiritually in order to become worthy citizens and take their rightful place in society, and they themselves are responsible for this.
The point is that not only family upbringing plays a role in the development of children and young people. Educational institutions have a special role in the education of children and young people, regardless of which family they grow up in. Children are introduced to society for the first time when they go to school, and their contact with society starts from their school years. Therefore, education of children and young people in educational institutions is of special importance. Children who grow up in the spirit of patriotism in secondary schools should be educated in the same way in higher education institutions. They should be educated in the same way so that they become worthy citizens for our country and state. Being worthy citizens should be instilled in our youth in higher education institutions. Special attention should be paid to their training, because this responsibility falls on the pedagogues and teachers. In turn, our society should treat the owners of such a responsible profession with special respect, and the teacher’s work should be properly evaluated. Because the pedagogic team is responsible for the education of children and young people and deserves great respect.
In addition to science, knowledge, literacy, and physical education, it goes without saying that in the normal development of young people, the education of citizenship and the feeling of love for the motherland also plays an important role. The protection of our national interests, those belonging to our people, the protection of our sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity is the civic duty of every Azerbaijani, and the idea of Azerbaijaniness should be inculcated as the main idea for every young person. To love the motherland, to be loyal to the motherland, to spare one’s efforts for the sake of the motherland means to be a true citizen, and all these are the basis of the idea of Azerbaijaniness, which every Azerbaijani youth should grow up in this spirit. We must grow in this spirit so that our sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity are in safe hands. There is no doubt that the victory we achieved with the leadership, political will, determination, the unity of our people, the bravery and bravery of the Azerbaijan Army of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, and the Victory we won are thanks to this, the love of our citizens for the motherland, the sacrifice of their lives and blood for the sake of the motherland. The logical result of the 44-day war, the victory we achieved, showed the world how patriotic our youth are, and also taught the enemy how to love the country, the people of Azerbaijan, the youth of our country. Everyone saw and was convinced that the sons and daughters of Azerbaijan are in the spirit of love for the motherland, and it must be admitted that this spirit originates from the proper upbringing of children and young people.
With what bravery and wisdom did the sons of the motherland, our young people, fight for their land and territorial integrity, what kind of heroism were observed in the battles for the liberation of Karabakh, which is the eternal and eternal land of Azerbaijan and was kept under enemy slavery and occupation for nearly 30 years, as well as the surrounding territories from occupation. revealed once again that he was educated in the spirit. It became clear once again that the physical and moral development of the citizens of Azerbaijan and the youth of our country is properly ensured, and the right work has been done in this direction.
