Special Aerospace Services (SAS), one of the largest space and defense engineering companies, has completed the acquisition of missile and hypersonic weapons developer Concordia Technologies, with the support of Godspeed Capital Management LP. This was reported in a SAS press release.
The transaction is consistent with SAS’s strategy to advance aerospace initiatives to support national security missions and strengthen its position in the development of advanced defense technologies.
Concordia Technologies develops programs to produce missile and hypersonic weapons systems for the US Department of Defense and other key government agencies, including the Missile Defense Agency.
From SAS’s perspective, leveraging Concordia Technologies’ hypersonics and missile defense expertise is consistent with the company’s strategy to develop critical technologies and strengthen national security space capabilities, including missile and hypersonic weapons systems solutions.
