Police Station Bantul revealed the results of the investigation related to the Twitter account @polseksrandakan which provided “oblique” comments towards the tragedy of Kanjuruhan, MalangEast Java.
Bantul Police Public Relations Chief Iptu I Nengah Jeffry Prana Widnyana said the results of the investigation with the do-it-yourself cyber police team on several Srandakan police personnel, particularly those who could access the account, found that one of the members was negligent.
“It is true that there was negligence on the part of Polsek members who were not administrators, but had been the official administrators, so they were still able to access the account,” Jeffry said.

“And the person concerned admitted that he made comments using the Srandakan police sector account,” he continued.
When examined, the member admitted that he accidentally and unknowingly made a comment using the official Srandakan police report.
“For this negligence, we have held the person concerned in a special place for the next 21 days starting today. In addition, a code of ethics trial will be initiated for the violation,” Jeffry said.
Jeffry said his party had reminded social media account holders and also members of the Bantul police and their ranks to lead the SOP for social media use.
“Once again, the Bantul police offer our deepest condolences for the incident in Kanjuruhan, Malang and we also apologize profusely for the publication of the official report of the Srandakan police,” he concluded.
Earlier, it was reported that the @polseksrandakan Twitter account was debated by netizens for chirping with the words “tilted” when they commented on the tragedy in Kanjuruhan, Malang, East Java. The account whose administration is held by a public relations member of the Srandakan police is suspected to have been hacked.
According to detikcom on Sunday (2/10), @polseksrandakan initially responded to a netizen account discussing the shooting of tear gas as the cause of many people’s deaths at the Kanjuruhan stadium. “Modyarr” wrote @polseksrandakan who replied to the tweet.
Not only that, @polseksrandakan was also observed responding to tweets from other netizens with the words “gek do belani opo koe ki” and “Salute the army, destroy it”.
The tweet of @polseksrandakan’s reply has been deleted, but the screenshots of the comments have already gone viral on social media.
Police in Srandakan, Bantul, suspected their account had been hijacked because the administrator believed he had never made such a comment. On the one hand, the account password hasn’t changed for a long time.
