Thiruvananthapuram: Speaker P Sriramakrishnan against the opposition going ahead with the no-confidence motion. He said the opposition resolution was illogical. The opposition is only making political allegations. He could have asked himself something before presenting it. He said he would seek clarification on the allegations.
It does not make sense to bring such a resolution in the church on the basis of media reports alone. As Speaker, he does not have his own intelligence unit. So I could not know about the dream. The dream was treated amicably. There is no need to misinterpret it. He has done nothing wrong. The sweetness of democracy is the opportunity for dissent. That is what the Opposition is giving. He said it was up to the party to decide whether he would contest again.
