In view of the very long waiting times at the Darmstadt immigration authorities, the SPD is calling for the city administration to be restructured. Your chairman Tim Huss speaks in a message of “catastrophic conditions” in the authority. According to the responsible mayor, Rafael Reisser (CDU), the waiting time for an appointment at the citizenship office is currently six to eight months.

Huss is now calling for a new personnel policy and greater digitization of the city administration.
