The entry into the spring of Slavia footballers did not leave any fans alone. Two domestic defeats with Karviná and Sparta left several questions, but the stitchers responded well with the won victory in Slovakia. According to Pavel Hoftych, this is the key to spring.
Slavia players, management and fans have been accustomed in recent years to stitching beautiful football, the best in the country. In recent years, Slavia has dominated here, winning three titles in a row, not losing over 50 matches in the league and no one had a recipe for it.
But the stamp of perfection cannot last indefinitely. The logical downturn had to come sometime and this happened this season. Although Slavia leads the table, she already has 3 draws, 2 defeats and a cup-out. In addition, her performances lag far behind with regard to recent years, and stitching is particularly troubled in the offensive.
In the last two seasons, it was almost the only way to at least draw Slavia to get the gunpowder wet and throw away their chances. But in the spring it’s a completely different picture, Slavia doesn’t work out almost any chances, she didn’t even shoot a goal against Sparta.
The duel in Slovácko had a similar course. There, however, Slavia relied on extreme combativeness, dedication, and in the end one ingenious action was enough for three points.
Although football was not very watchful, no one in the red and white cabin was interested. At the moment, the most important thing is to go back to the winning wave and it doesn’t matter which way.

It doesn’t matter how, but they needed to win, and this time they did. It certainly wasn’t a nice match and good performances from Slavia, but they don’t care at all now. Of course, you can’t rely on every match for one event and you can’t fight for matches every time, luck happens once. But before the Slavists reach their usual well-being and self-confidence, each of the three points gained is worth its weight in gold.
