It seems to me that Semak’s strength, his coaching knowledge, coaching fortune are somewhat exaggerated. In my opinion, Semak did not bring anything new to the formation of the team from the banks of the Neva. There are good footballers, he knows how to motivate them, knows how to communicate with them, they probably respect him. But something interesting did not appear in the game. There is a set of expensive, good football players who regularly do their job.
Tedesco actually rebuilt Spartak’s game and came up with new tactics. The sectarians, as Dziuba calls them, are, of course, unhappy, shouting: where is the lace? Where is the ligature? Where are the Alenichev and Titov-Tikhonov programs? But “Spartak” plays good and the fastest, in my opinion, football in Russia. Laces are not woven, but what they can do is used: run, conduct counterattacks. Therefore, it seems to me that Tedesco as a coach in this sense is stronger than Bogdanovich. The manner of leading Tedesco on the edge is raging – I also like more Semak’s calmness. I myself am still the hysteric. The same Dimka Alenichev, whom I endlessly respect as a person, lacks courage, rage and pressure. Tedesco fits very well into our national paradigm: all the hysterics, all the psychos, “my friend, deputy, come here, nna.” Jumping sharp, yard habits, Tedesco on the spot: “go see the VAR again, brute.”

I understand approximately with an accuracy of 10 percent what both coaches will offer. They will not find anything supernatural in their coaching piggy banks. Naturally, it affects whether the so-called injured players will play, especially Zenit. The approximate schemes of Sergei Bogdanovich and Domenico, for example, Avgustinovich, are clear. I don’t know what new they will be able to offer in this story other than a powerful motivational drive.
I cannot predict the outcome of the match. Because a lot of psychological background interferes with it. If we analyze arithmetically what is happening with the teams, then Zenit is more stable, Zenit is stronger, I think. Stronger consistently.
But there are many emotions in this game. Without hearing the words of my opponent, I can definitely imagine what kind of hatred, what negative emotional charge is presented on the other side. Spartak really, really wants to win this match. It’s been too long a string of humiliations in recent years. There was a game under Mancini when they beat the champion with a score of 5: 1. I remember the mood “Get up, the country is huge, get up to mortal combat” – because it was boiling. Now Spartak is boiling. Therefore, do not predict the result. Hatred can lead to something bad. But it can lead to something good. So 50-50.

I really like Lovren: it’s a great addition. But Rakitsky is bad. Let me explain why. For a defender, he is very nervous: he constantly fouls on the edge. There were a couple of moments last season when the judges did not remove him just because the judges were scared by the Gazprom machine, the national treasure. This is the first – he is nervous. Second, it is slow. I think that he will be thrown behind his back in the derby of two cultural capitals. This is a weak spot for Zenit, which makes me very happy. Jikia, although not as fast as we would like, but still runs – taking into account his rather heavy figure. If we divide them into pairs, then Zhigo is almost Lovren’s level, and Djikia is seriously better than Rakitsky.

At this stage, it seems to me, plus or minus, the same thing. Rakitskiy did not start the season very well. In addition, it is unclear whether he reached his level after recovery. Lovren is a normal defender at the level of the Russian league. I do not see any strong differences in the potential of these defenders. In general, Rakitsky and Lovren are the people who can make a difference in the result. But under certain conditions, which may or may not agree.

I personally do not know him – all these young people do not know me, were not born when I was shown a lot on TV, they just perceive it as an old man who shouts loudly. Maksimenko will grow into an insanely good goalkeeper. He and Safonov are our goalkeeper’s hopes, at least somewhere we have good. Kerzhakov, I think, is weaker. He is a very good goalkeeper, reliable, working, it is clear that he is a plowman. But he is inferior in size: he flies in the far corners, there is not enough arm length. In comparison, Maksimenko is slightly stronger.

Recently I read a deep study on the site sports.ru – deep, like everything that is done there. It was a study about the effectiveness of goalkeepers, and in it the respected Mikhail was at the very bottom. It was such an analytical review in terms of saving goalkeepers in situations where it is difficult. Kerzhakov’s overall effectiveness is clear: he conceded only 5 in 9 rounds. But one must also take into account the conditional match against Ufa – 6: 0. In the moments when the ball should fly into the goal, according to mathematics, Mikhail was not very effective. The same can be said about Maksimenko, but in this report he was taller than Kerzhakov. Will there be dangerous moments in the match? Most likely yes. I guess the match will be hot.

And I’m not sure what will come in. Sobolev is still young, not matured and lightweight – they move him, knock him down, push him. Very diligent, will grow into an excellent striker, perhaps even – I will say sedition – better than Artem Sero Solnyshko Dziuba.
Azmun is generally one of the best strikers in the championship: fast, dexterous, coordinated, focused, not falling from every contact, standing firmly on his feet, which is very important in our refereeing realities, in which clean penalties do not give all clubs (I will not whine).
Dziuba is generally ATAS. With all my raspberry-colored hatred for him, he just plays awesomely now, I just admire. It’s like in the yard: you play, you move well, and then a dude from the sports school comes. And he scoffs at you, shoves you in the point, beats three times on the swing. Dziuba is so confident now! Foolish penalties, pauses – how he scored against Arsenal. Dziuba is now going through the best period in his career, unfortunately, I have to state this.

This is a very striking combination, in my opinion. There are few who will yield to anyone in this confrontation. An interesting task. It is impossible to predict the behavior of both. Very emotional, very categorical. If you evaluate them in general, then other people should do this, and from the point of view of the upcoming match, I will be happy, depending on the result, of course, expect that each of them will say how he will behave. In general, they are worth each other.
