The only continental hockey league of the day (KHL) plays Moscow’s “Spartak” coached by Oleg Znarok and Harry Vītoliņš with a 0: 1 post-throw series in Yaroslavl’s “Lokomotiv”.

Both teams were unable to score in regular time, but the opportunities for both teams to play in different configurations were very high. Yaroslavl’s hockey players earned six rejections in the fight, and Spartak players also suffered a two-minute penalty six times.

Even in overtime, the units were unable to beat the goalkeepers and the winner had to be determined in a series of post-match throws. Yegors Korškovs and Pāvels Kraskovskis stood out in favor of Lokomotiv, but the hockey players led by Znaroka and Vītoliņš were unable to realize their potential.

As part of “Spartak”, Julius Hudachek repelled all 48 throws of opponents, while in the ranks of the Yaroslavl club Edvards Paskvale dealt with 28 throws.

Spartak currently ranks eighth in the Western Conference table, while Lokomotiv ranks third.

For Znarok and Vītoliņš, this is the second season under the leadership of “Spartak”. Last season, the team finished fifth in the West, but in the first round of the play-off, Moscow acknowledged the superiority of Dynamo with 2-4.
