The extraordinary Presidium of the Union of League Clubs (ÚLK) will meet on Wednesday and decide on the sports fate of the unfinished derby.
In her opinion, Trnava accused Slovan of trying to get three points behind the green table and not on the field, and is not even protected or deliberately lying to achieve this goal. The reaction from the “whites” did not take long and denies the allegations.

Do drowning straws catch? In today’s statement, FC Spartak Trnava stated several misleading facts from our point of view. ŠK Slovan responds to these statements and puts the facts in perspective.
We would like to emphasize again that the match of FC Spartak Trnava – ŠK Slovan Bratislava was prematurely ended by the main referee. Representatives of ŠK Slovan perceived the extremely high security risk that prevailed at the stadium in Trnava, including the absence of SBS under the domestic boiler (see attached photo). In our opinion, the risk was so high that if the match continued, it could also be about the health and lives of the players, members of the implementation team or other actors on the field. In the end, the risk could not disappear just by clearing the sector with our fans, when, paradoxically, the whole conflict was caused by domestic fans.
Therefore, we consider the decision of the main judge to be correct and at the moment the only possible one. The correctness of the referee’s decision and our position is confirmed by a public statement by Petr France, SFZ and UEFA security manager, who also publicly stated that he could not imagine continuing the match due to the imminent risks that persisted at the stadium in Trnava.
ŠK Slovan rejects the allegations that it would intentionally deceive or mislead by the information that on the roof of the stadium, resp. fans of Trnava were above the guest sector. Video recordings and photographs clearly prove that there were fans of Trnava above the sector, who posted a derogatory banner, the content of which confirms that it was part of the pre-match choreography. This only confirms that it was a long-planned aggressive action against our fans. Supporters of Trnava, who were above the guest sector, threw red-and-black pyrotechnics and various other objects at our fans into our sector.
Every judicial person will form an opinion on the events, and the media and television also paid a lot of attention to them. FC Spartak Trnava deliberately pulled out the TV TA3, and we are convinced that only because the same owner also owns ŠK Slovan Bratislava. On Monday, all-area televisions reported on Monday, resp. outputs with similar content. The fact that Spartak Trnava “pulled out” only Television TA3 only confirms the tendency of its expression.
All important and detailed information, which from our point of view proves the fatal failure of the organizer, ie FC Spartak Trnava, together with our opinion, we sent to the governing body of the competition, ie the Union of League Clubs. We will not repeat what has already been said, but we considered it necessary to put into practice the misleading statements of the Trnava club.
The decision on the future of the match or the disciplinary consequences belongs to the Union of League Clubs and the SFZ Disciplinary Commission. For this reason too, we will not comment further on the subject for the time being, and our energy will be directed towards more pleasant responsibilities associated with the European Conference League’s home match.
