Spartak football player Leon Klassen met with a couple who promised to name their son in his honor, the press service of the Moscow club reports.
On August 8, the defender of the Moscow club scored his debut goal for the Red-Whites in the FONBET Cup of Russia match against PARI NN (5:4).
The game was attended by Sergei, a Red-White fan, and his wife Olesya, who are expecting the birth of their son. The couple could not choose a name for the baby. Arriving at the match, the couple agreed that they would name the child after the author of the first goal.
– It’s incredible. For me, of course, it’s very nice,” said Klassen.
