With a score of 2: 1 in favor of the Moscow “Spartak” the meeting of the red and whites with the capital’s “Lokomotiv” in the 17th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) ended. The match is the last one before the winter break, after which matches will resume in March 2023.
The match was held at Lokomotiv’s home stadium RZD Arena. Quincy Promes (21′ minute, penalty kick) and Danil Prutsev (28′) scored goals in today’s match between Spartak players, Wilson Isidore (87′) among railway workers.
Thus, Spartak scores 36 points and takes second place in the standings of the Russian championship. Lokomotiv is in 14th place with 13 points. In the next round, Spartak will play with Ural, Lokomotiv – with Rostov.
