He went through the semifinals with a complete overview, despite the omitted conclusion and a two-second penalty, he was the first, so he was the last of the ten riders on the final track.
Although Prskavec does not like the last position, he managed the pitfalls of the water canal with an excellent and icy calm face. In the second half, he was already leading by more than four seconds. The experienced matador kept the lead and finished for gold. The medal was also won by the Slovak Grigar, who will take the silver from Tokyo.
