Spanish opera singer Teresa Berganza (89) passed away

Berganza became known for her renditions of operas by Mozart. She also sang operas by the Italian composer Rossini and Bizet from France. She has performed in world theaters such as the Teatro Real in Madrid, la Scala in Milan, the Vienna State Opera and Covent Garden in London. She also sang in the United States.
