Spanish MotoGP FP3 Results: Bagnaia Defeat Quartararo

Pecco Bagnaia beat Fabio Quartararo to become the fastest rider in the third free practice session (FP3) Spanish MotoGP at the Jerez-Angel Nieto Circuit, Saturday (30/4).

Bagnaia recorded a time of 1 minute 36.782 seconds, ahead of Quartararo who was in second place. Takaaki Nakagami, Marc Marquez, and Maverick Vinales then completed the top five positions in the Spanish MotoGP FP3.

From the course of the Spanish MotoGP FP3, Joan Mir is still the fastest with a time of 1 minute 37.341 seconds until the last 15 minutes remaining. Joan Mir is ahead of Aleix Espargaro and Pol Espargaro who are in second and third positions.

Not long after, Pecco Bagnaia shot to be the fastest with a notch 1 minute 36.782 seconds. Bagnaia’s record lasted until the Spanish MotoGP FP3 entered the last five minutes.

Fabio Quartararo tried hard to take first place but he was 0.067 seconds slower than Bagnaia and had to settle for second in the last five minutes.

Quartararo’s attempt failed again in the last minute. He had made an impressive record but made a mistake in the last half of the lap at the Jerez Circuit.

Bagnaia’s record time also lasted to be the fastest until the end of the Spanish MotoGP FP3.

Fabio Quartararo is currently still the leader of the 2022 MotoGP standings with a collection of 69 points, as is Alex Rins who is in second position. Meanwhile, Aleix Espargaro is in third place with 66 points.
