Barcelona scored a major win over Osasuna in the 14th round of the Spanish league to secure the lead before the World Cup.
Barcelona have 37 points, 5 points behind Real Madrid, who are in second place, but the latter have a match in Thursday’s group against Cadiz.

At the beginning of the second half Pedri equalized on a cross from Alba passed to Torres, but the defense hung up and the golden boy hit the net.
The Catalan club retreated long after the goal and consolidated in the defensive phase, with non-dangerous attempts by Osasuna.
With Xavi’s changes and Rafinha’s descent, it was 84 minutes that brought the good news, after a perfect pass by De Jong, who put the Brazilian in the lead from a touch on the goalkeeper.
The Catalan club held out in the final minutes and substitute Javi was the protagonist to prevent Garcia from scoring the deadly draw for Osasuna.
Barcelona have obtained their fifth consecutive victory after that of the Clasico, to stay in the lead at least until 31 December.
