/ world today news/ The head of the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi, said that Spanish banks are sufficiently capitalized and strong enough to lend again, noting that the fourth largest economy in the EU “gives positive signals”, reported AFP.
“Today, Spanish banks are properly capitalized and in a position to lend. Spain is on the right track. There are some positive signs, a lot of progress has been made. We must congratulate the citizens of Spain for their efforts,” said Mario Draghi.
“But we must not forget that no European country has finished its work,” he adds.
