Tourist situation in Cuba
Given the decline in the arrival of traditional visitors such as Canada and Europe, the Cuban Ministry of Tourism seeks to expand the promotion of the Island to other destinations.
Due to this, the Island has made obvious bets on the markets of Russia, China and South Korea, also focusing on other countries less inclined to vacation in Cuba such as the Czech Republic and India.
In the last two cases, the destinations are focused on Meliá Hotels International, which supports promotional campaigns such as Cuba Única, which paints the Island as an attractive and safe destination for visitors, despite the high levels of violence. and the nightmares that other tourists have experienced during their visits to the country.
