Spaniard Alex Rins Wins MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin

Spaniard Alex Rins (Honda-LCR) won the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin on Sunday, ahead of Italian Luca Marini (Ducati-VR46) (2nd) and Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), 3rd, who sign in the United States his first podium of the season.

The Grand Prix was marked by the fall of reigning Italian champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), who made a mistake shortly before halfway, when he was in the lead. The Italian Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati-VR46) remains the championship leader ahead of Bagnaia, now eleven points behind his compatriot.
