Albania: SPAK takes action against the criminal group by extracting cocaine from the skin of cattle

After an investigation began in 2023, SPAK today attacked a laboratory processing cocaine from Latin America in Qereke of Fushë Krujë and arrested three foreign citizens and seven Albanian citizens.
The Special Prosecutor’s Office has revealed how Colombians and Venezuelans were used as “experts” who guaranteed the technical success of the operation since they were able to obtain cocaine from genetic material. This was done through cattle hides, turning the raw drug into a marketable product. The Colombians and Venezuelans, known for their extensive expertise in handling and processing cocaine, were the “experts” who guaranteed the technical success of the operation. Hiwlen Ledezma Narvaez (41) from Colombia, Joze Ramon Zacarias Vasquez (35) and Samuel Alfonso Moreno Serrano (42) from Venezuela are the three foreigners caught in the operation.
